A preliminary survey commissioned by Friends of Passagemaker was
relatively positive and encouraging. We now plan to proceed with
comprehensive vessel and engine surveys, so a budget can be worked up.
If you're interested in helping save the old girl, visit the URLs
below. Once you sign up with a donation of $50 or more, you'll be
able to participate in the discussions on the private list set up for
Friends.
The idea is to form a non-profit foundation to save Passagemaker and
promote voyaging under power.
