Check out Stamoid. I believe it is much longer lasting than Sunbrella
and tougher. www.ferrari-textiles.com/marine I solved the problem by
putting on a hardtop for which I am most thankful - it seems to have
increased the size of the boat and the bridge is even heated. However I
used Stamoid for the side curtains and also for my Bimini top. I use
Sunbrella for interior upholstery. Another thought is to have "frowns"
instead of "smiles" for your forward opening windows. They're easier to
use - they just drop down. Nothing to tie up. Great when you're in a
hurry to see something a bit more clearly, when docking etc.
