    Peggie,
I took your advice last year and disconnected my Lectra-San from the holding
tank. Now I have the smug, self-righteous feeling of someone who is finally
legal. Plus, the toilet and Lectra-San works great. Actually, it works
remarkably better than before. I do have a quandary. I sent my Lectra-San in
to Raritan for rebuild less than a year ago. It worked great when it came
back. About two months ago I noticed the "Low Salt" coming on so I read
through the acid-cleaning procedure and followed it to the letter. It worked!
Now, two months later, I noticed the "low Salt" light on again. I thought
"that was quick, but I know how to fix this" so I went through the
acid-cleaning drill again yesterday. It didn't work. Any thoughts?
    Regards,
    Randy Pickelmann
