    Yikes! Please don't let anyone sand blast your hull. It'll make a mess out
    of the gelcoat and really cause a blister problem long term. Stick with
    chemical strippers or just plain old sanding.

    As far as anti-fouling, I'd ask around locally. I get three years out of
    Petit Trinidad SR here on the Gulf Coast (Texas / LA) but that might not
    work as well where you are.

    You might also look at Interlux's barrier coating process if you're taking
    all the paint off anyway.
