    Not a misprint but a cross sectional area not a diameter.

    50 mm is equal to 1/0 gauge which measuers exactly 53 mm square area and is
    good for 190 amps so a 100 or 125 amp breaker is adequate.

     There is a "2" just above and to the right of the mm, which I took to be a
    footnote, which I can't find...but if that were a "square" sign, we would be
    talking 250, wouldn't we? Hmmmm.

    Yes that would mean square but as in 50 millimeteres squared not that the
    50 is multiplied by itself.
