Besides Joe's appropriate warnings regarding listing issues from placing
that much weight on one side of the boat, I would examine the charger's or
inverter's overheat fan location. You might want to plan to install your
charging source so that it's fan exhausts in the direction of any grating or
louvers you install.

I'd be more concerned about putting that much weight up high in the boat and
probably offset to one side. Aside from the weight, the movement at that
level in rough seas could be substantial. Be sure to tie them down securely
lest you have catapulting batteries in the saloon.
