A quick Google search shows the GPL-4C sell to retail at about $160.00
each. One could probably negotiate that down to $150.00 or less for
    purchase of eight.

So that's $1,200 for 880 AH of 12 volt AGM batteries. Not bad if they
    work as advertised.

Trojan T-125s which are 240 AH each for 960 AH at 12 volts. 8 T125's
cost about $75.00 each retail or about $600.00. You could probably do
    better on price.

So AGM 880 AH for $1,200.00
    And Trojan T-125 960 AH for $600.00.

FWIW I am not an advocate for Trojan but our T-125's are now 12 years
old and doing fine. I expect we will have to consider replacing them
    soon though.
