I concur with Keith, my Mermaid 16,000 reverse cycle A/C has been running
through two summers and one winter. No problems. I contacted tech support
for advice on installation, then water pump replacement, and received
thorough and friendly help both times, at no cost. It will ice up when
water temp drops below 42 degrees F since it lowers the discharge water by
at least 10 degrees while heating the boat. Revert to electric heat then.
