If you are going to Solomons, I would highly recommend going a little
farther up the Patuxent River and anchoring in St. Leonard's Creek. You
can anchor just about anywhere on the creek, but you must dinghy up to
Vera's White Sands for a drink. Vera usually makes her grand entrance
around 7:00 or 7:30. St. Leonard Creek is very pretty with high
hillsides, trees, and some very attractive homes.
