Ron,
Sombrero Resort at Boot Key Harbor (Marathon) is a popular spot, but the limited no. of slips book early. It's a popular spot for trawlers... there's always a number of Krogens spending the winter there.
IIRC, Pooh spent the winter there last year... but Mark stayed on a mooring. It's a nice community of cruisers there and Thursdays at the Tiki Bar are always popular as a local guy named Joe Mamma performs and the crowd loves him.
