Well, the Chester River and its tributaries offer superb cruising. Instead
of St. Michaels, hang a left and go up the Wye rivers. Nearby, there is the
West River and Harness Creek. Take a ride up the Severn. In small creeks
surrounded by trees, expect a leafy bottom and use a heavy anchor to
penetrate that leafy layer.
Finally, add Smith and Tangier Islands to your Solomons trip. of course
there are places North of the Chester and there is Baltimore.
