Greetings:
I have a purchase agreement on an Enterprise 54 located in Marina Del Rey.
Agreement is subject to survey and inspections and I have 3 weeks to complete
and make final decisions.
Boat is 1980 with 3208 NA cats.
1 of 3 mild steel tanks replaced with stainless, other 2 in the engine room
de-commissioned.
Teak is OK on flybridge and so-so on rest of deck.
The boat has been on the market for a couple of years, so I am suspect.
After reading this list, have decided to bring in surveyor from out of town. Also
plan to get experienced diesel guy in to evaluate the cats.
Anyone have any background about the Enterprise boats built around this time?
Or the 54 model specifically?
Just as a shot in the dark, since it has been on the market for so long,
anyone know anything about the "Bermuda" at Golden West Yachts in Marina Del Rey?
Might save me a lot of headache and $$.
Thanks to all,
Regards,
Wayne
