There have already been several responses regarding the fastening of pictures on boats using velcro as an alternative to using. traditional methods. Time for my 2 cents.
I have used velcro in the past a few times. However, I have found that velcro can pull veneer when you attempt to remove it so make certain that you are not placing it on a thinly veneered surface.
Personally, I prefer to screw the pictures to the bulkhead at the four corners using high quality wooden frames. I have both purchased and sold boats using such methods and when I sell I just pull my pictures and leave the frames in place for the next owner who will likely place his own pictures within the frames.
Caution, in my opinion glass picture frames have no place on a boat and should be replaced with plexiglass. Any good frame shop can make the exchange for you at a very reasonable cost. The you don't have to worry that someone will stumble or fall into a picture shattering the glass and causing possible injury at worst and broken glass at best.
