    Hi Ron.
The product probably has a different brand in the States.
It is a soft rubber adhesive that comes in strips about nine inches long
by > inch wide , each side protected by waxpaper. There are normally
about four strips in a pack.
You tear a piece off and knead it into a small ball, place it on the
surface, then press whatever youre securing firmly against it.
Its just the best thing ever on a boat. Stops things sliding etc. In
fact the keypad Im typing this on is secured to the slide with the
stuff. The stuff I have right here is called power tack but Im sure
Home Depot or a large stationery store would havea similar product.

This from the Free Dictionary .com:
    Blu-tack is a reusable
    <http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/putty> putty-like
    pressure-sensitive <http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/adhesive>
adhesive often used for attaching posters to walls. The original version
was blue, but a white version is now available. It is based on a
formulation consisting of synthetic polymers. Blu-tack is a trademark of
Australian company Bostik .Similar products from other manufacturers
    include "Buddies" (pink), and "Pritt-Tack".

    Hope this helps Ron.
    Cheers
    Glenn.
