    Just my two cents, but.................

    we recently sold a Sea Ray 40 with 3126 Cats...one engine had an injector
    problem (not sure what it was, as it was when another broker had the boat
    listed). Some injector part broke off inside the cylinder and the complete engine had
    to be replaced. Cat tried to wiggle out of this, so the owner paid for the
    replacement, and took Cat to court. The engine had 120 hours. I'll ask the
    seller how it was resolved and pass that on as soon as I can find out anything.

    On a side note, the seller (he's the origional owner) paid for an extended
    warranty (the boat is a 2000 model) but the Sea Ray dealer forgot to send in the
    paperwork to Cat (but they DID keep the $$) so the issue is quite
    complicated.
