Steve asks
If one injector/keeper/rocker failed after 25 hours what's the likelihood of
the batch being bad? I know they xray airplanes to check for metal
failures so what can a visual check accomplish?
REPLY
There is a process called magnaflux and also a flouroscope and flourescent
dye that is used to check for microscopic fatigue cracks in highly stressed
metal parts on aircraft and race cars.
Check your yellow pages for a local high performance shop or a precision
machine shop that offers such a service.
A Google search for Magnaflux brought many pages of results as did
Flouroscope.

Arild
