I have an 8.5' Boss Boat and am very pleased with it. It rides on Weaver davits on my swim platform. Virginia Weaver designed ARC davit arms specifically for a Boss Boat and they work well. I rigged a simple block and tackle system off my upper deck to swing the tender out of the water, as I do not have not enough leverage to hoist the Boss(120 lbs) when standing in the rear cockpit. Having the tender attached to my trawler by the davit arms when I drop it into water also makes it much easier to install or remove my 8-hpYamaha outboard (60 lbs). It is just like walking out onto the swim platform rather than bouncing in a towed tender.

    Alan
