This is a subject I am glad to see discussed.
I have very mixed emotions about what goes on at most fuel docks. The ones
we go to most often, and that's not real often at 3 gals per hour and 250
gal of tanks, they help a bit with the lines and I tip in the 5-7 buck range
when taking on 100 or so gals. But I still come away feeling like I did all
the work. Maybe the tip is so they'll give me a little shove as we leave.
Sometimes even at 40 feet and push in the right direction helps with getting
our single away from the dock.
The thing that I feel most put out about is the way they hand you the
nozzle. Sometimes even before you get the cap off the fill. To me that says,
"Here, if it gets spilled I want you to spill it."
    Am I paranoid or what?
    Bill
