Ants live underground, so you can rule out a nest anywhere on your boat.
They're walking onto your boat from the shore...using your docklines as
their "bridge." You're not gonna get rid of 'em till you discourage 'em
from doing that by spraying all your docklines with Raid (or whatever)
at least once a month or any time they get soaked enough to wash it off.
Once you've sprayed your lines the first time and killed all the ones
you still see on your boat, you should be rid of 'em....'cuz ants,
unlike roaches, don't lay eggs everywhere...only the queen does that,
and only in the nest. So you can pick up the ant traps and stop using
insecticide in your cabin...just wipe up any you see with a wet paper
towel. Any that escape you will head back ashore, only to be poisoned
as they traverse your dock lines.

I've had a few ant invasions...this DOES work.

To make your boat less attractive to all insects in the future, store
ALL food that isn't in sealed cans or jars in ziplock bags, tins or in
the fridge...don't leave ANYthing that could possibly be a food source
for 'em sitting out. And be scrupulous when it comes to mopping up your
galley countertops and washing all your dishes.
