Useable capacity will be anywhere from 2-10% (the larger the tank, the
smaller the difference) less than the outside dimensions indicate. Wall
thickness reduces the cubic inches inside the tank...and it's impossible
to fill every last cubic inch without overflowing the tank out the vent.
Tank mfrs always show the useable capacity when listing tank sizes in
their catalogs, btw.
