    The simple way is to go to:
    http://www.brokeboats.com/tankcapacity.html
    and plug in the dimensions. This will give you the capacity in U S gallons

    One U S gallon equals 231 cubic inches.

    Unfortunately most fuel tanks are tapered--so the actual measurements and
    calculations used.
