    My problem with the radar overlay is that it is just confusing for me.
    Because of charting errors, GPS errors, and whatnot, the radar "blip"
    usually doesn't coincide with the navaid, or coastline, or whatever, being
    "off" by just a bit. Just enough that I don't like looking at it. While the
    chart is an aid to navigation, the radar image is "real" and right on. I
    have no problem looking at the two screens side by side, and for collision
    avoidance, all I'm looking at is the radar and the horizon. Just my personal
    preference.
