Good morning, All,
Well, after two years of lots of work (yesterday was the second anniversary of
the survey), Second Act is finally ready (we hope!) for a real cruise, so
Tuesday morning we will depart Miami for the Bahamas. Port of entry will be
Bimini, then on to the Berry Islands, then Eleuthera, and eventually to the
Exumas, returning to Miami around Labor Day.
Though I haven't posted much, I have lurked on Trawler World/T&T for about
three years now. This is a great opportunity to say "Thank You" to all of you
for the priceless information you share on this most interesting and
informative list. Second Act's refit would have been MUCH more difficult (and
expensive!) without it.
We don't expect to have much internet access while we're in the islands, but
where possible I'll try to post any interesting/educational experiences.
