Found out from a computer techie how to solve the problem I have. I am
usiing windows XP not 2000 as one of my e-mails incorrectly stated. I have to
connect my usb connection first ( without the GPS connected to the USB port), then
boot up, ....the reason Windows XP mouse was going crazy was that it keeps
trying to figure out what the signal is from the GPS and the mouse will not
work... Then before I load fugawi navigational program i hook up the GPS.
I am going to have to do this every time I turn on the computer.. really a
pain.. it was much easier when my laptop had a standard serial port. Thanks
for your help...
