I have come across an interesting and confusing problem that needs the
thoughts of this most knowlegeable group. I have a Standard Horizon DS150 mounted on
my flybridge and goes to a through hull transducer. I decided to put in a
slave unit in the lower station in an existing 2" hole in the dash. I purchased a
SH DS41 which has a nmea input. The unit works great at the dock. As soon as
I start moving, it stops reading the depth and only indicates the sl sign for
slave unit. Any ideas would be appreciated.
