If you're looking for a folding chair with a flat, cushioned seat, this
idea may not be for you.

We have made good use of a couple of variations on the tubular aluminum
and fabric fold-ups available at Walmart and other such stores. You see
them carried to outdoor events in a convenient pouch with shoulder
strap. We have a set with armrest and drinkee-poo holder for the open
area of the flying bridge and a smaller one with no arm rests for use in
the master stateroom at a fold-down secretary. They all store away in
small places when not in use.
