    More news from the Albany, NY region....

    A 53' Matthews Craft began taking water and sank on the Erie Canal outside
    Rotterdam, NY Monday morning.. The owner, Luciano Lama was traveling from
    Annapolis to Cayuga Lake for the summer. He was lucky to have a son in
    another boat that was able to respond quickly to rescue all on board.

    The cause of the sinking is as yet unknown, but once they have raised the
