John, we have four of the plastic recliner (patio set) chairs in the cockpit
on Taid's Inn, with fabric pads. They are quite comfortable, and fold flat
for storage; in fact they all fit in a standard dock box. Premium versions
can be purchased for about $15 Canadian - about US$10 - at most home supply
stores. I do have one word of warning, however. The cheaper variety has a
very limited capacity - my 250 pound son has gone through several of the
cheap ones over the years, so you need to make sure that you check the
construction, especially where the legs lock together. If the plastic there
is thin, it is possible to drive the extrusion on the second leg right
    through.
