I have a nice big cockpit and could comfortably place four or folding
chairs in a circle. Looking at West Marine Catalog I have been floored
by the prices of the nice padded folding chairs with vinyl seats and
    sturdy double tubing etc.

Has anyone used a cheaper camping chair that functioned well. Perhaps
the tradeoff in comfort isn't that good but

a chair that is lighter and easier to stow might be a good tradeoff at
1/8th price. Say something from Camping World.

Heck, Teak is nice too at those prices but its heavy and bulky.

Just thought I would ask to see what the listees have found to worked
well for you all. Maybe the vinyl padded chairs are the best thing
going. I would like some opinions.
