T&T: Canadian VHF news,

Since 1999 Canadian operators (air & marine) have been told that they did
not require a vessel "station License". Also there was a reciprocal
agreement with the US Government for Canadians visiting the US.

Appears that 9/11 intervened and the agreement was not concluded.

The attached is a notice from local (Nanaimo) BC Squadron to pleasure craft
operators of the current situation concerning Canadians who are advised to
    check their local MCTS office.

Our American friends may want to do likewise with their authority.
