    Try an 8" 12 volt electric model from WESMAR. I put one in my 36' Albin. Had a
    pro install the tube for about $800 (it was done as part of a bottom peeling
    job so it was cheaper than normal) and then did the rest myself including
    adding an 8D battery and wiring. The bow thruster was about $3000 in 1997.
    Bought the thruster through Washburn's in Solomon's Island, MD.

    Not a bad job - took a weekend with one helper.
    What a difference a thruster makes!
