I have an older Toshiba laptop computer, (Tecra 730XCDT) that I would like to
use for dedicated ECS. It is an excellent product, but dated. The problem is
its limited memory, hard drive capacity and Win95 operating system does not
satisfy most ECS minimum system requirements. (Memory is 48MB, HDD 2GB).
Is there a navigation software package that would run on this unit? I have
Garmin eTrex Mariner for GPS input.
Intent is to provide only basic functions to serve as backup to the
installed Furuno 1833C radar/plotter.
