Just received a message from a listee that reminded me that I go to survey
next Tuesday on the Hatteras 48 LRC I have under contract. Don't recall
receiving any input from any other owners of 48 LRC's on the list but this
is probably a good opportunity for me to ask if anyone on the list is
familiar with anything on this particular boat that should be payed
attention too during a survey? Same goes for the power plants, twin
Detroit 4-53's. While I am employing the best surveyors I could locate
(both were recommended by list members), I have yet to have a boat survey
that didn't fail to turn up a few surprises that surfaced days or weeks
after the purchase process was long over with.
