Thank you to everyone who submitted photos in answer to my request
for high-resolution photos of the Peterborough Lift Lock on the
Trent-Severn Waterway.
The photos selected were shot by Eric Praetzel and can be seen at
http://www.trawlerworld.com/lift_lock.html
The lighting, angle and composition made these two shots the best of the lot.
For those of you who inquired, high-resolution in the magazine world
means at least 1 MB and preferably 3 to 5 MB for photos that will be
used large. A minimum might mean 500 K for pictures that must be then
used small.
By-the-by, editorial work on the first edition of Power Cruising now
has been completed. It's on schedule for debut in mid-February. The
URL below backgrounds why I'm writing to you about Power Cruising
rather than Trawler World, in case you missed my post about a month
ago.
