    Ron,

Yes, you are limited to the dockside breaker capacity, however, you will
have two 30 amp circuits at 115 VAC each, roughly double what you would have
with only one 30 amp circuit. So, less than a 50 amp 230 VAC outlet, but
roughly twice a single 30 amp 115 VAC outlet. The actual capacity without
tripping a breaker will depend on how each leg is loaded/wired at your panel
with a combination of 115 VAC and 230 VAC devices. Try to spread the loads
so that each leg is below 30 amps and you should have no problem.

    Good luck,

    Bob Lowe

    >>>>I'm under the impression that adding a 2 x 30A splitter to a 50 amp
    shore cord
for use where 50 amps is not available isn't going to buy you much since the
    max load remains 30 amps....or am I wrong? I hope I am -because I'm
    staggering
along trying to run winter heaters at a 30 amp only dock here in not so
    sunny
    Mass.
