TWL: Single 50A vs Two 30A

    It was good of you to point this out. I realize this and always check the
    outlets with a voltmeter to make sure I can get 230 VAC. If they are not
    wired that way, I settle for 30 amps 115 VAC.

    on board to operate a 240 volt appliance such as a washer/dryer: The two
    legs of 240 are out of phase with each other and so must the two 120 volt
    inputs, which is not always the case.
