TWL: SPLITTING 50 AMPS

    I'm under the impression that adding a 2 x 30A splitter to a 50 amp shore cord
    for use where 50 amps is not available isn't going to buy you much since the
    max load remains 30 amps....or am I wrong? I hope I am -because I'm staggering
    along trying to run winter heaters at a 30 amp only dock here in not so sunny
    Mass.
