When we rewired Dreamer, we put in a 50 amp 230 VAC panel with both 50 amp
230 VAC inlets and 30 amp 115 VAC inlets, fore and aft. We carry two 30 amp
115 VAC cords and two 50 amp 230 VAC cords. At the panel, we select which
we are plugged into or the genset, which provides 8 KW at 230 VAC. We also
carry a plethora of adaptors as well as the wye to provide 230VAC from two
115 VAC outlets at dockside. We are always able to plug into some outlet if
desired, or not, if we choose not to plug in. Works for us.
    Good luck,
    Bob Lowe
