re switching from two 30amp to one 50 amp connection, Gil, why fix what ain't
broke? Alrid's comments are always excellent and I would not debate him. My
thoughts are weight, which you are concerned with. have you ever lifted a 50ft
50amp cable? We're talking big heavy! Not only that, but the 'splitter' I had
to buy in case I can't get 50 amp at a marina cost $400 itself!. More and more
marina now offer 50 amp but it's not always available and does cost more when
it is. Buy two new 30's by all means!
