I have used a CQR Plow as the primary anchor, with a Danforth or Fortress set
on its side on a roller along side. The second large fluke (Danforth or
Fortress) in a holder on an aft railing. When Cruisng where there was lots of
grass, I put a third roller on the end of the bow sprit--(not appliable on
power boats), where it could be stowed with the stock in place. I have other
friends who have modified the bow pulpit on a power boat to carry three
anchors. If I were cruising the East Coast ICW, I would use the SuperMax as
the primary anchor, have two Danforths, one bow and stern, and the CQR and a
fisherman in the lazarette or bilge---or under a bunk etc.
West Coast or Maine I would go with the CQR as primary anchor with a Danforth
    next to it.
