    Randy.
    Fuel in equals horsepower out.
    If it takes 60 HP to drive your trawler at hull speed, one engine will give
    X gph. Twins SHOULD give 30 HP each , so half-X GPH each, plus the driveline
    and other mechanical losses of the "extra" engine.But that's theory!!
    I'm yet to see a twin installation that's anywhere near as economical as a
    single, in the real (not theoretical) world.
