Why not consider a 12 or 24 VDC air conditioning system? That would be more
efficient than AC through the inverter. We have Glacier Bay refrigeration
and air conditioning systems on Dreamer, both 230 VAC and 12 VDC, and it
works great.
Good luck,

>>>>I am about to buy a 34' Marine trader that has neither AC or Genset. I
have heard that it is possible to run and air conditioning system using a
powerful inverter instead of a genset. I sure could use some info on the
possibilities and the btu possibility, as well as the inverter needs. Thanks
in advance for your input trawler folks.
