That is a very good observation, Radoje.
Most, if not all, noise suppressor filters will involve the use of
capacitors to ground. Many "sensitive" electronic items will have an
incoming noise suppressor built into them. The easiest way to retain the
GFCI protection, although a little clumsy, is to put a small isolation
transformer between the offending appliance and the supply. This, however,
does remove some, but not all, of the protection that the GFCI was installed
to provide in the first place.
