    This is backwards. The terminals marked "line" on the GFCI are for the
    incoming line wires. The string of outlets downstream should have been
    connected to the "load" terminals.

    I have the same situation. A GFCI receptacle in the engine room also
    protects the receptacle at the galley and in the aft stateroom.
