    This is what combiners do. Once the primary bank has reached a predetermined
    voltage, the charge is passed on to the secondary bank. It would be nuts to
    combine different types of batteries. One vendor sells completely different
    models for each battery type, while others let you set the charger for a
    specific battery. One AGM manufacturer, Concorde, even sells its own
    chargers.
