And I think it's a darn good theory. I keep my reliance on the "new
technology" to a minimum. Yes, I use a GPS (Garmin 76) but I first
lay out my courses on a paper chart using parallel rulers and
dividers. Then I input my course into the GPS and double check every
point and course. Only then do I think I might have a trouble-free
trip, navigation wise. Of course, I still have to watch out for the
idiots, the crab pots, the uncharted shoals, did I mention the idiots?
