Several large chandlers (West, etc.) carry Swedish hose clamps which are
solid SS and have rolled edges to avoid cutting into the hose. These are
100% SS.
Only drawback is they require a metric nut driver which is overpriced at
West. Jamestown and Hamilton's Marine sell all at a reasonable price. Worth
peace of mind.
