    I wouldn't expect a 22 ft sailboat to have much of an electrical
    system, so she'll probably have to stick with a portable GPS with
    internal batteries.

    I haven't looked at the current crop of portable receivers, so won't
    suggest anything. I will suggest that you (or she) look around

    guidance.
