TWL: Winter lazarette heat

    Ed,

    A quick and cheap solution to your lazarette problem:
    Home Depot, Wal*Mart etc. sells oil filled. portable electric radiators.
    They just plug in to shore power and have no open flame. The oil heats
    up via internal electrict rods and then circulates through the fins.
    They have a thermostadt and a high/low switch for additional heat
    should it get real cold.
    We use these inside our boat in CA to take the chill out and keep mildew
    away. They're always on and we have been using them for over 5 years.
    You can usually get them for $39.00 or less (on sale) You should be able
    to get by with just one or you can add another if it gets reallly
    cold...<brrrr>
