    Keith,

    Call your local high school or college and find out if they have a mercury
    barometer. These are the gold standard for barometric measurements. Take your
    two barometers in hand to the school and set the readings to that of the mercury
    barometer. Wait until the weather changes and go back and make a comparison.
    Swear by the barometer that most closely matches the mercury barometer.

    Or forget about it and watch the Weather Channel.
